Château Fontanche

Château Fontanche’s vineyards are situated on a 190-meter high plateau above sea level. The grapes used in this wine are sourced from very old vines, aged 60 years. The surrounding vegetation (garrigue) consists of wild thyme, fennel, and rosemary. A portion of the grapes are handpicked, resulting in a more refined blend of the three grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan. The aromas of red fruit, garrigue, and licorice make this wine a perfect match for BBQ, game, and semi-hard cheeses.
